Former ACID BATH Frontman To Perform On Tonight's 'The Henry Rollins Show'

June 10, 2006

DEADBOY & THE ELEPHANTMEN, the Louisiana duo featuring ex-ACID BATH frontman Dax Riggs, will be the musical guests on on "The Henry Rollins Show" on the Independent Film Channel (IFC) premiering on Saturday, June 10 at 10:00 p.m. EST. An encore presentation of the program is scheduled for Thursday, June 15 at 11:00 p.m. Watch an episode "teaser" at this location. (NOTE: Former JANE'S ADDICTION frontman Perry Farrell will be interviewed on the program.)

In a recent interview with the Toronto Eye Weekly, Riggs said of the progression in the sound of his new band away from the metal leanings of his previous outfit, "It's a more mature way to think about these kinds of things. I think it's kind of like the natural evolution of what ACID BATH was. We've had a lot of people who seem to just always move with me. They were into heavier music and now this works for them, this thing."

Formed in 2000, DEADBOY & THE ELEPHANTMEN released their debut full-length disc, "We Are Night Sky", earlier this year via Mississippi's Fat Possum Records.
